Brad
Midday | Program Director
Brad (formerly “Porno Brad”) is the Program Director and midday host for KRAK – Rock 102.1, Alaska’s new home for loud, unapologetic rock.
Before launching KRAK, Brad helped build up the other rock station here in Alaska.
You might still listen to it… when KRAK is on commercial break.
Brad built KRAK from the ground up — designing the sound, building the music library, and shaping the attitude behind the station. His philosophy is simple: radio should be entertaining, powerful, authentic, and never boring. KRAK was built for people who still believe rock radio should actually rock.
On the air, Brad keeps things a little weird. No fake DJ voice. No national giveaways. No corporate radio nonsense. Just silliness, big guitars, legendary bands, and the rock Alaska deserves.
When he’s not behind the mic or searching for the next great BBQ spot (he really loves BBQ), Brad is working on the next big promotion, concert flyaway, or listener experience designed to make KRAK more than just a radio station.
Because to Brad, rock should never sit quietly in the background.
It should hit you in the chest.

Hello Alaska!
I’m the new guy at the station and excited to be in Alaska for the first time.
I’ve had a love affair with music my entire life. My mom likes to tell the story that before I could even remember, I’d sneak out of my crib, turn on the hi-fi in the living room, and crank it up.
I grew up in Montana, where I played saxophone throughout school and eventually picked up the guitar. There wasn’t much opportunity to become a professional musician there, but I knew I wanted a career connected to music somehow.
Over the years I’ve worked mainly in rock radio, and honestly I love IT. I’m a big fan of both the classics and discovering new artists, and I look forward to sharing great music with you.
